Club dues calculator

To work out a club's monthly dues, add up the season's costs, subtract the income that doesn't come from dues, and divide the result by the number of athletes who pay dues and by the number of months they pay. This calculator does the sum for you, in your browser: no figure leaves this device.

Frequently asked questions

How do you work out a basketball club's monthly dues?

Add up the season's costs (venue, registrations, licences and insurance, referees, travel, kit, coaches), subtract the other income (sponsors, grants, events) and divide by the number of athletes who pay dues. Divide that by the months of dues in the season to get the monthly amount.

Does the result include a margin?

No. It is the lowest monthly amount that covers the costs you entered. If the club wants a reserve, add it to the costs. If some athletes are exempt or pay less, count only those who pay the full amount.

Are the figures I enter saved?

No. The sum runs in your browser. The figures are not sent to Hoobex or stored on this device, and they disappear when you close or reload the page.

Can Hoobex help keep track of dues?

Yes, on request. Hoobex treasury and dues covers dues plans, bank-statement reconciliation and members' payment standing, with payments by bank transfer. It is set up with our team: ask for it when you book the demo.
